Yesterday, I was lucky enough to enjoy the last day Newport’s 2013 Folk Festival. Though there were several noteworthy performances (The Lumineers, Lord Huron, etc.), Black Prairie took my breath away. Here’s one of my favorite pieces (note: obviously not the festival performance):
